Dramatically improve your health...

Diabetic Weight Loss

Diabetic Weight Mangement

The first question on your mind is, "How does all of this work?"

Let me take a few moments to explain the process and share with you what you can expect.

The first thing you're going to want to do is complete the form on the home page to get on my waiting list. You'll receive an email from me asking you to confirm your email address and that you're requesting information from me. This is a hoop I would rather you not have to jump through but legally I am required to do this.

Once you confirm your email, you'll receive another email from me with a download link of paperwork that I'll need for you to complete. This will provide me with an overview of your medical history, your current health, medication you're taking, what foods you like and don't like, etc..

After I've had time to review your information I'll schedule a phone consultation with you, if I believe I can help you. The phone consultation will require a $450 fee in advance. The phone consultation will last between 45 to 90 minutes depending upon the complexity of your health problems. We will discuss your concerns, I'll answer your questions and I'll share with you options. Together we will decide which options are best for you.

I will then take between four to seven days to create your initial custom Diabetic Weight Management plan. The reason it takes this long is because I do not hand this to someone else to do. I personally do all the work on your case. I do not have staff to do the work for me. This ensures that you are getting my expertise instead of a staff member.

You will schedule an appointment with your doctor to review the plan and have it approved. If your doctor approves your Diabetic Weight Management plan then we move to the next step.

I will create a more detailed Diabetic Weight Management plan based upon what we've discussed and any recommendations your doctor may have. Each plan will be for one week at a time. At the end of each week we will have a short 15 to 20 minute phone consultation to discuss any modifications we need to make. These modifications will be incorporated into your next Diabetic Weight Management plan. (see fee schedule for additional fee information)

In addition to the weekly phone consultation you will receive information from me at least every other day if not daily. You'll be installing special software program on your computer that will have a window pop up in the lower right hand corner of your monitor when I update your file. This software will ensure your privacy and all information I share with you is confidential. (see faq) You'll be notified via this software as to reminders to complete your online journal, adjustments to meals, exercise videos, online meal journals, online weight loss journals, online activity journals and articles and health alerts. You'll also find that this is a great way for me to answer any questions you might email me concerning your health.

At the end of each month you'll schedule an appointment with your doctor. I will send you a report for the month for you and your doctor to review your progress. Your doctor may or may not make recommendations for fine-tuning your Diabetic Weight Management plan. And, your doctor may or may not adjust your medication. Both will be up to your doctor to decide.

A program of this caliber usually doesn't take longer than six months for you to master. Your actual time will depend upon how much weight you need to lose and when you and your doctor believe you're at a safe weight and your blood sugar has stabalized. It is not my intention to make you dependent upon my services. I measure my success by the number of clients who have mastered what I've taught them and no longer need me.

In addition to a few new foods that I'll be incorporating into your diet and some very low impact exercises -- I may or may not recommend a few supplements. This will depend upon your current health. You'll find that I'm not a big fan of supplements and believe that you will receive all the nutrients you need from your food. However, sometimes supplements are helpful on a temporary basis to help you get a jump start on things.

I also do not recommend any foods or drinks that contain either alcohol or caffine in them. Both are poisonious to your body and counterindicative to your health. Although your meal plans are based upon foods you like you can expect to be introduced to new foods which I am sure you'll also like.

If at any time you believe you are not progressing I want you to feel free to tell me. I have no problem with you cancelling your Diabetic Weight Management program. There will be no hard feelings. You're welcome to come back and try again at a later time. The door is always open for you.

Lastly, it is important for you to keep in mind that I am not a medical doctor and do not diagnose conditions or prescribe drugs. I work closely with your family doctor or specialist who is more qualified than I am to provide you with the health care you expect and deserve.

If you have any questions, always feel free to ask. The key to success with your Diabetic Weight Management plan is communication. I look forward to helping you to achieve the health and fitness you expect and deserve.

Respectfully yours,

Diabetic Weight Management
